St Remio was founded in 2015, but it wasn’t until Trent spoke at Global Coffee Conference in Rwanda that their brand WHY truly emerged. After that moment, the vision for St Remio changed to become a brand that championed the coffee growers and gave back to them. Their mission is to “change people’s mindset away from commodity and into the community.” In 2019, they visited Rwanda to open a Cupping Lab that not only produces sustainable coffee but empowers coffee growers through funding education and infrastructure! The pair are extremely dedicated to doing great things for others with the support of their customers and say that’s what motivates them when the going gets tough. This is an excellent listen about one couple, a powerful community, and lots and lots of coffee!
