Why does my husband say "I love you' but is distracted by other women? The words "I love you" can be cheap if he chooses to violate your marriage covenant. Focusing his attention on other women is not love - it's a lack of commitment.
A listener, writes Gary, why does a man say I love you, but still seems to be distracted by other women?
Well, let's face it, the words I love you can be cheap. If a man is involved with someone else and yet says to his wife, I love you. He's fooling himself because love does not violate a covenant. Marriage is a commitment to each other, so long as we both shall live. And to simply say the words I love you and to have eyes or involvement with someone else is not love. So how can a man do that? Because often our heart gets divided. We are sinners, all of us. The hope. The desire is always that a person will repent and come back and affirm their love, truly, because they've made the hard decision to reconcile.
