Bell Media Ottawa's own Ziyada Callender has wrapped up her 'Long Walk Back' from Montreal to the Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre, raising funds for the facility and helping those that are battling the disease. Diagnosed herself at the age of 40, she fought and beat colorectal cancer. Her initial goal was to raise $10,000 - but she had surpassed that goal before taking a single step on August 29th. Ziyada joined Patricia Boal on the final stretch of her 240-kilometre journey to discuss how it went. Then, we check in with CTV's Claudia Cautillo as Ziyada reaches her destination.

The Ottawa Senators previewed some big changes that local hockey fans can expect to see at the Canadian Tire Centre this year. As the 2026-2027 campaign gets underway, a brand-new Fan Deck at the 300 Level, coupled with new food items, will be greeting the CTC faithful. The Senators are also launching a new slogan: The Hill We Choose. And on top of that, Palladium Drive is also getting a new tenant, as the PWHL's Ottawa Charge will be playing their Home games in Kanata full-time. Senators President and CEO Cyril Leeder joins Patricia Boal on CFRA's Ottawa At Work.
