That’s because, if she didn’t, the lawyers of a popular female music group were ready to launch a lawsuit for trademark infringement. Lily Bond is the founder of what is currently known as Spyce Girlz Seasonings, a seed that was first planted when she was just 13. And now, after spending countless days at farmers markets, the 22-year-old has expanded her roster of products into grocery stores. Last week, Ontario’s Minister of Education admitted that too many people don’t know how to download a digital report card. And that might have been the catalyst for an old-school comeback, as paper report cards will soon be revived from the dead. Paul Calandra recently collaborated with parents and teachers in London, assembling several ideas for a reform of what he considers a ‘fractured’ school system. It’s unclear when the report card changes will take into effect, but it’s unlikely to happen for this school year. Kristy Cameron chats with Colin Matthew, the Vice-President of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation, on Ottawa Now.
