Pre-trial running for the LRT East Extension delayed to November

The pre-trial running phase was supposed to commence sometime this month, but that timeline has now been shifted to November. They examine how it could impact the timeline for the grand unveiling.
Meantime, in an update to the Ottawa Police Services Board earlier this week, Ottawa's Police Chief says the latest deployment for the Downtown Safety Plan has wrapped up as of Thursday. More fulsome results are expected in November, but the news also follows a tragic double-stabbing in the Downtown Core.
