Canadian farmers are worried about their future, as the plan for Canadian high-speed rail chugs ahead. A proposed connection from Quebec City to Toronto is the ultimate goal, with a Montreal to Ottawa connection currently serving as the primary baseline. And now, ‘Legal Permission To Enter’ documentations are being delivered to Eastern Ontario landowners, as a growing crowd speaks out against the proposed vision. One of those unfortunate farmers is Kevin Hammond. His family owns dairy farms near Hawkesbury, Ontario and LaChute, Quebec – both of which are in the direct path of Alto’s master plan.
