These findings have been unveiled by the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters, which says apprenticeship pathways aren’t keeping pace with modern manufacturing. It also says that, despite a sharp decline in Ontario’s manufacturing job vacancy rate, the industry is still facing structural workforce challenges.
