These in-depth investigations were launched in early-March, as requests to look into anti-competitive conduct began to pile up. Specifically, these findings point to the possibility that these grocery giants were using property controls to limit competition. Not surprisingly, Sobeys has since pushed back against these allegations. We dig deeper with Michael Osborne, the Chair of the Canadian Competition Practice and a member of Toronto-based law firm Cozen O’Connor. On a lighter note, we are heading into the final weekend of May, which is the best time of year for marathon runners to come out and play.
