Senior Deputy Governor of the Bank of Canada Carolyn Rogers warned in a recent speech that interest rates could remain higher than people may want or expect for an extended period of time. This comes after late October deliberations with the Bank of Canada shows officials don't agree on whether future hikes will be necessary or not.
