Canadian singer-songwriter Leeroy Stagger is making the trek from Western Canada to Wakefield, Quebec. Not on a full-time basis, but for another notch on his musical passport. The 43-year-old Alternative Country voice has been in the music-making business for a long time, a journey that began at a young age in 1998. Since then, he has created a pair of EPs and a remarkable 12 albums, with the latter set to increase to 13. Above all else, he is a loving husband and father to 2 kids, and his battle to preserve his long-term sobriety is bigger than any of his musical achievements. Leeroy caught up with CFRA’s Andrew Pinsent ahead of his May 28th performance at the Black Sheep Inn.
