Meantime, a group of Carleton University students are celebrating a big international win, as the school’s Planetary Robotics Team took home the golden trophy at the 2026 Canadian International Rover Challenge. His roots, however, date back to his Toronto origins and his past experience as a theatre director. This coming Saturday, he is paying a visit to The Red Bird on Bank Street, and with a new album in hand. Shaver joins Andrew Pinsent to talk about his musical journey, and his latest endeavour called ‘Even Gooder Than Tomorrow’.
