Something really something bothers me about yesterday. I don't know what, you know, I was thinking about when I mentioned March twenty seventh being the Penn State Pro Day, and there's there's something or not the pro day.
It was being the uh Blue White weekend.
Yeah, the spring game.
There's something about that date that I know we talked about in reference to Penn State, but I cannot figure it out and it still bothers me. I don't know what it is. It's really pissing me off. But something is happening in Penn State on March twenty seventh that I know we talked about.
Apparently twenty seventh.
I can't. I can't figure it out. It's thirty and.
I can't help you. Yeah, because I don't.
I don't know of a date from March twenty seventh for Penn State.
I just I do know.
Even though Q was a hater and wanted to talk about a wrestler at a Difference school March, right now, it belongs to Penn State Wrestling. You know, that's that's kind of March twenty first, twenty second, twenty third, twenty fourth, twenty fifth, twenty sixth, whatever day you want to talk about. You know, it's a we are month for Penn State Wrestling. We've done something that has never been done before. And that's pretty pretty proud about that, man, pretty proud about it. We got you know, I know, you know everybody is like all about oh, Cinderella is dude, and uh, well, in il money has changed everything, and they're probably right, but you know we got in il money, you know from BJ who from West Shore Homes put money into our stadium fifty million BJ Yeah. You know, he showed love to to his his alma mater, So maybe that's what you're thinking. You know, I don't know. I got my Niitney Lion shirt on. I mean, there you go. I got a Nitney line top on today. I don't really know what March twenty fourth is for you.
I could, I could tell you. It's interesting.
There's a person that I really don't like that was born on that day, March twenty seventh.

Speaking of Penn State, you know, abdual Carter very confident, very confident about being the number one pick.
He should be draft he should be, he.
Said on social media yesterday. Don't let all this QB need talk, fol y'all. It's already known who's the best, and no quarterback is in that discussion. Like I said, the best player goes number one one generational.
Remember, I mean, he's grade at high as high as Miles Garrett. He's great. He's like his grade is that high. It's it's it's high. And when you hear him say that, regardless of what happens in real life, Jonas, He's got a very very strong point. It's a very valid point. And the point that he's making that I think people have to be very aware of is the quarterback. The two top quarterbacks, even the three top quarterback prospects that are are out there, they don't grade as as high as a generational talent. They don't here here's the dilemma. The dilemma you have is do you look at the amount of talent that can because it's Ward? Do you look at cam Ward and you say his talent is worth using a number one overall draft pick? Is his talent so undeniable? Is his grade and his rating as a quarterback? Is it so high that we're going to use a pick that is very elusive.
For a lot of teams.
And when you get that opportunity to have number one, you're generally using it on what would be perceived as a can't miss prospect. I'd ask you the same question, or I throw this question and pose it to you. Do you look at cam Ward or Shador Sanders or Jackson Dark Do you look at any of these three qb prospects and say that they are can't miss grade graded quarterbacks at their position.
No, and it's close. No, it is it enough.
It's not what last year was.
It wasn't Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, that whole crop of qbs.
It's not that type of prospect.
So if it's not a franchise changing talent, if it's not a.
Prospect that grades.
Out high enough and their ceiling is high enough where you say this is a guy that can change our franchise at the number one pick, I would say you either, if if you're really looking for a quarterback, I would wouldn't you think maybe you trade out of the one pick and try to build draft capital. I mean, if I'm the Tennis Titans, I mean I don't. I don't have their their draft, their draft board. I don't know how many draft picks they have. But you could probably get some, you know, some decent compensation for a number one pick, And so I wouldn't. I wouldn't take I wouldn't take a quarterback at now. I would not take a player at number one if they did not grade out as a as a bona fide generational talent, especially at the quarterbacks position.
This is where the conversation because when you talk to enough people who have either scouted or have been in these war rooms or these draft rooms, like like I've talked to Bucky Brooks about this when we did shows together, and at a certain point, it's best player available, Like that's like, okay, so who you.
Take those types of teams?
Yes, And so you get to a point to where it's like, all right, best player available, But then there is a reality to well, there's a need. And I think if the Titans looked at it and said, all right, best player available, it's probably Abdul Carter.
But they're saying this and we haven't even had their pro day And let me look up the pro day because maybe that's what you might have been referencing.
I don't know at this.
Point, but the point is is that he hasn't even had his pro day yet.
So because and that's where I think the conversation gets split to where certain teams can be in a position to take best player available, and other teams, although that would be ideal, like you do have a need and Tennessee isn't a spot where they need a quarterback. And I think that's where they're having this split conversation about best player available or like it's it's basically a rap.
I mean, if you believe all of.
The conversations the draft odds, it's basically a rap that Tennessee's gonna take cam Ward with the number one pick. That's where everything has been skewed, all the reporting, all of that. Cam Ward actually spoke with NFL Network yesterday because he had his pro day, and he gave a little shout out to the Titans who were in attendance. They all went out to dinner before his pro day over the weekend, and here was the Miami quarterback trying to sell himself at number one to Tennessee.
I said, I'm solidifying today.
They heard you.
I made sure they heard me. So I guess off that tip. The Titans obviously have the number one overall pick. They like you, they've had you in the building. What did you want to show them today?
I said, only showing number. Every other team just thrown on rhythm when there's three steps on rhythm, five steps on rhythm for under in the gun heavy play action, uh, you know, gun five with movement outside of the pockets. Just showing them all, you know under center stuff that I didn't get to show as much as they're the season. Let her know that I'm capable of it, because the end of the day, the NFL is not playing on the center all the time. They ain't a gun. But you got to be able to do it. And so that was the main focus for me. And then other that is just making it all by my receiver trying to throw them catch with balls and should not have bass at the ground. He had a couple, but the end of the day, you ain't gonna be perfect. You always got stuff to get better.
So that was cam Ward very well, very very handled, very well.
I like cam Ward, and I don't. I don't.
I don't want this to turn into a conversation where it's kind of an indictment against cam Ward in terms of being, you know, considered the number one overall guy to be drafted.
I just don't. I'd say abdual Carter.
On his pro day will either solidify that he's the number one draft pick or he will open that door to the discussion. And the only reason why I say that is is because coming out of the combine, obviously the X ray showed that he had that some type of a stress fracture or whatever it was in his foot that they found, and he did not participate, and and so, and I don't know how he was. It looked as though maybe I don't know, I could be wrong. I don't want to speculate anything, but his pro day will be very, very vital and very important to how he is, how he is viewed. If if he screws the pooch, so to speak, and doesn't have as an impressive showing and what it is that he's doing, that could go a long way, I think in terms of that impression of do you buck against what conventional wisdom tells you to do, which is if he tests well. I'm sure he interviewed well at at the Combine. So these coaches already have and these these gms and front office people, they already have an idea of who Abdul is as a person and even maybe his uh, his his understanding of the game. But they will go into more detail at a pro day. They will look at film more so than what they would have done at the Combine. There will be more aspects of what the interaction is and what the measurement and the weighing of a prospect is at the pro day, So Aduaul Carter to me has the opportunity to solidify who he is as the prospect.
And I think if he, if he puts up.
The numbers that I think he's going to put up because I think he's going to do well in the forty, which we we always do well historically speaking, we're just really good at running forties. So if he puts up a four to four, I know he wants to run a four three. But if he if he puts up a four to four time in the forty at two fifty four to three, uh, you do know Micah ran a four to three, that.
Is preposterous or three.
If if he runs a fourth three he can walk out of He can walk out of a luba.
If he runs a fourth, he should.
Leave there and go straight to two ten and start drinking. If that is a wrap.
If he if he runs a four to four, I think it still should be considered that because I do believe he's going to run a four to four at worst.
I think he's going to run a four.
Four's that's a freak show.
That's a freak show. That's a freak show.
Yeah, that's that's why I think. You know, if you're if you're asking Tennessee best player and need, I think it's two different conversations.
It is two different conversations. But with that being said, the again, the dilemma that Tennessee is in is that at picking at number one, you can't you can't give way or you can't succumb to saying that our biggest need is quarterback. If the best prospect in the draft is not a quarterback, I don't. I think that's the biggest dilemma. And so to me, if you have a guy that is projected and considered to be a guy who has graded as high, just as high as Miles Garrett coming out in the draft, I just don't see how you can waste because I got to believe that's a wasted pick. If you're not taking a guy who has graded that high because your need says you have to get a quarterback, I just if that is the case, then trade out of the pick because I don't think you take a quarterback. And again this is not an indictment against cam Ward. I just don't think that. I don't think the quarterback's grade so high in this draft that you spend a first first pick.
I don't.
I don't think, In fact, I don't think you spend the second pick, to be honest, and I know that that's like kind of you know what's floating around.
I don't. I don't know, man, I don't.
Know what pick is the pick where you say this is the right pick to go get a quarterback. But if I'm being honest, what top three? I think there are better prospects out there for those first three picks then to take a quarterback out of this this quarterbacks draft class, I mean respectful.
Like you would look at Abdul, Carter Travis Hunter, like those are.
Those are the first two names that are going to jump out at you. Those are the first two. That's a lock that you're getting a game changing player with your draft pick, and that's what you want.
I also look at it and go all right, So if it is a foregone conclusion that listen, Abdul may be the best prospect, but you know they're probably gonna take cam Ward at one if they're Tennessee.
Now you look at it and go all right, well, everything would.
Indicate that Cleveland would take Abdul Carter at two, and so to have him and Miles Garrett like, hey, listen, they the quarterback situation. That's a whole nother conversation getting after the quarterback. Though, you won't have a problem, Yeah, Cleveland's on an use, you.
Will not have a problem there.
I so, and if that's what happens, that's what happens. But I just think it's hard. It's hard to justify how you would pass up a prospect that grades out that high for a prospect that does not grade out that high.
I just don't that.
Again, even if it's by need, you do have quarterbacks on your your roster, and I just don't. I wouldn't want to miss on a number one. I wouldn't want to miss on a one. You go get a guy at number one, and he's he's no different than, I don't know, than the quarterback you already have on roster if he doesn't grade out where he's any better than the quarterback that you already have on your roster, which some people are sitting there if they're listening there, like cam Ward is clearly better than will Levis?
Maybe so, But is.
Cam Ward clearly better than Will Levis? As a pro today or what's your projection of what cam Ward, how good cam Ward will be, Because if you're spending a number one overall pick, you're saying that this guy is coming in and he's bona fide better than the guy you have at that starting position day one, that's what you're saying, and that's what you're banking on, and that's what you're investing in. Is that the case here, is cam Ward better than Will Levis day one going to the Tennessee Titans. If you can't answer that question, yes, and you have a talent that grades out as high as Miles Garrett did, like I hope people are understanding that there hasn't been a guy who has graded out remotely close to what Miles Garrett graded out coming out in the draft. If you have a guy that grades out that high, if I said to you, you have the potential to get a MOUs Garrett talent with your pick, or you have the potential of getting a I don't know.
It's an unknown.
I would say, taking any one of these quarterbacks and wondering if they can be that guy day one, it's an unknown. Which one are you going? Which which which which are you going to spend a number one draft pick on I think it's and that's if I'm Abdual Carter and i'm you know, obviously his agents. I'm sitting there, and that's how I feel about That's how I feel about everything. Go into your your pro day, do what you need to do in your pro day, and understand that all you can do is really hurt yourself in your pro day if if you're not prepared properly to perform the way you're supposed to perform, because you've already pretty much solidified that you grade out with the things that you do on film, that you're grading out as high as one of the best defensive ends in the game.
Right now, Well, the pro day is on Friday for asar Or so he'll get an opportunity to show out in state college. You gotta be there for that. You're gonna head out to Stay College for the pro day.
Or No, No, I won't be there, Okay, I mean LeVar Arrington will be there. Oh yeah, this one won't.

App Apparently you don't know what you got until it's gone, and that is apparently what is happening right now with your guy Aaron Rodgers. According to Albert Breer, our guy who joins us every single Thursday here on the show that is our guy, Albert Breer reported, quote over the over the past few months, Aaron Rodgers has been open with people around him on his renewed appreciation for what he had for eighteen seasons in Wisconsin. Call it a grass is Greener dynamic if you want, but it definitely has felt to some of those around him like spending a couple of years as a New York jet made Rogers view the situation he had more favorably. That's also one area where the Steelers have an edge. Pittsburgh has a long established culture, a family business feel and stability just like Green Bay.

That's I mean, wouldn't you say that that is clearly an attempt to lessen the sting of being.
Not the first choice. I mean, that's to allow that first off, what does it matter?
Like that's amazing how polarizing Aaron Rodgers is that this is a report Like what you mean, like oh now after Like it does not take a rocket scientist or or any type of genius to understand that Aaron Rodgers had a better situation in Green Bay than he did in New York.
I know, like.
Mind blower yeah, but listen, look like you needed we needed a report to know that.
I mean to figure that one out.
Look, there's a big difference between dating stable and dating a stripper. Okay, Rogers was dating a stable it was a stable relationship.
So I'm saying a stripper can't provide a stable relationship. You know, a stripper before life. I will admit this. That's a that's a that's an mission. I have dated a stripper in my life. And let me tell you something.
How'd you like that colone you came home to every night? How'd you like that one somebody else's send.
All I'm gonna say is all I'm gonna say is is that she was one of the coolest people period. She's a cool person. I did not have and you know what like the relationship was. I mean, I didn't get too too deep with it, but and I was. I was Maybe I was the one that was the stripper and not the stable one out of the two. But I mean, I'm just yay, you know, it's our audience. I mean, I just you know, I like shooting from the hip. I don't want to make a judgment against somebody that it may appear to be something that it's not. And here's the point that I'm making though. The point that I'm making is maybe Aaron Rodgers is the unstable one and the relationship.
That's where I'm trying to get to.
It's not don't blame it on the stripper, because you know what that stable, that air quote stable one that you're dating, That one could come home smelling like cologne.
Too, you know what I mean? And that one which one's going to hurt more? Right? Which one's going to hurt more when.
You find out that you thought the stable one was the stable one and the other one wasn't stable and then you figure out that the stable one ain't stable at all.
Listen, He's got a lot of things that come along with him.
We all know that. Now. I support him through and through.
Obviously he's a friend of the show, and you know, we were featured in his Netflix documentary Enigma, episode three, if anybody wants to check it out. But the point is, I look at it and I go at some point during his time in New York, he's looking around, going Jesus, I didn't like look Wisconsin and Green Bay and they had their issues towards the end and their relationship was a little strained and all that stuff. But at some point he's with the Jets looking around, going.
Are we serious here? Is this a real place?
Like it seemed that the glitz and glamour, it's New York, it's all the other things that came along with it. I can fix them, I can save them. And then you just realize night after night, when they're coming home with crinkled up dollar bills inside their pantehose, that you're like, you know what, there's no.
Saving this, Like that's that's what the that's what it is. And when I got to go elsewhere.
While there is validity to what it is that you're saying, there's truth to what you're saying, I still am am of the mindset that it's like there is a common denominator and some of the things that take place where Aaron Rodgers, where he's at, there's there's there's drama wherever it is he's at, and he is the common denominator. He is And listen, he might be a good dude. I've never met him before, don't don't know him. I'm not judging him based off of knowing him. So I want to be careful to say that, because he may be really and for what at all Inton's purposes. He may be a really good dude, but as it applies to how he handles things organizationally speaking, he's not been a good dude. He's not been the best like he has. You know, it's interesting. I've been I've been like doing some some deep dives on Philadelphia and just looking at how they're constructed. Why why are they so successful that to die this, that and the other. And I got a little sidetracked because what I started realizing. I started seeing a lot of interviews about Jalen Hurts. Jalen Hurts, you want to know what he is most underrated. It's funny because then it took me to these other different articles. I saw Prisco doing his choosing of quarterbacks, different quarterbacks, and there were a whole bunch of quarterbacks that that Prisco would take over Jalen Hurts. Jalen Hurts as a leader is under underspoken, under not understood probably and out outward, you know, outer areas are not maybe even congested, you know, not congested.
Uh.
What am I consumed is what I'm looking for, and it's not it's not a consumable story, but his leadership is probably the singular reason why Philadelphia won the Super Bowl and has been as good as they are his leadership. And I'm I bring that up to say, we get so locked in to how talented a player is, what their stat line is, and that is that becomes what we measure and weigh a person off of Jonas A stat never made somebody a great person. A stat line never solidified what type of a leader a person is. Aaron Rodgers doesn't come across as a leader, a good leadership guy. Aaron Rodgers comes across as more of a and this is just my perception. Now I could be wrong, but Aaron Rodgers comes across as a me guy. And if there's one position that you have to not be a me guy, it's the quarterback's position. So to hear the report saying, oh, I was talking to friends and maybe I didn't have it as bad as I did in Green Bay, Like dude, you had a lot of dudes that loved you in Green Bay. You had a fan base that loved you in Green Bay. But for one reason or another, something that was taking place you weren't okay with you weren't happy with it, and you weren't willing to just stay down in and focused in on keeping the main thing of the team the main thing. It became more about you, Oh, you want to draft somebody to come take my place. So what everybody gets somebody drafted behind them to take somebody's place.
What are you so focused in on that? For?
It just almost comes across to me jonas as he is orchestrating, he is building these narratives in his head to try to motivate himself to want to play. And that's fine, it's worked. I mean, he's played well, but I just don't think that him as as the person. I just don't know that that's as you know, that might be the bigger story. It's not everything and everybody else. I think at this point you got to look at Aaron Rodgers and say, that's the bit, that's the focal point. It's Aaron Rodgers. It's not it's not the It's as crazy as.
This may sound, that and I'm gonna.
Say it, it's not the New York Jets. What It's not the New York Jets. It's Aaron Rodgers. It's it's not the Green Bay Packers. It's Aaron Rodgers.
You gotta be.
Willing and ready to deal with what comes along with bringing in that type of personality. It's not everything else. When it's always the same things, it has to be a focal point on what it is that is the main the main uh, what is that the main piece of why things aren't going right? The the main information is Aaron Rodgers is always associated with there being this type of you know, fallout or instability or at odds. It's just seemingly it's Aaron Rodgers.
Aaron listen, you know, he might have his faults, but it's the Jets. They're pretty bad, man, like.
The bad They're bad. They're bad, but could they but could they have been better? What dominated the headlines the last two years in New York?
Aaron Rodgers?
Okay, yea in New York?
Now, now, think about that, one of the largest media markets. They have a ton of things that they could jump on. Tell me about any other storylines from the New York Jets other than Woody Johnson and his kids, choosing kids or choosing players from Matten. What dominated the headlines outside of Woody Johnson? Name another player?
Well, no, it's Rogers. Nobody's doubting that. I'm not. I'm not saying he didn't dominate the headlines.
It's just yeah, but it's it was negatively dominating the headlines. Was it give me a positive story, give me, give me a positive outlook, a positive outcome. Robert Salah loses his job. You're up next. He's he's struggling to try to figure out what to do with the team. Aaron Rodgers is talking about whatever he's talking about over here, like it's all.
It's all.
I mean, the Jets, They've got a long track record of dysfunction. It's a true, like a long ass track record of dysfunction. So I just I look at it and I think that he prop Rogers probably thought oh yeah, like I could be the difference here, and then he got there at some point and realized.
Yeah, this ain't happening.
It's just his track record has been the exact same a coach.
A coach gets gets let go.
I'm certain Mike McCarthy being let go from from Green Bay had a whole lot to do with Aaron Rodgers. I'm for one hundred percent. Robert Salai is I mean, I just think that's that's Aaron has to take a look at Aaron. The teams have to take a look at Aaron, because it's not the stripper. It's the one that's saying, Oh, do I date her the stripper or do I date her the stable one? Bro, You're the drama. You're the drama. And that's what people have to start focusing in on. So that whole report that means absolutely like what does that mean?

In case you missed this, we talked about this yesterday, that viral video of Yukon head coach Den Hurley leaving the court after that loss to Florida, reportedly telling the staff of the Bears, the Baylor Bears, I hope the officials don't f them the way they fed this team. Well, some aftermath on that, reportedly, according to many reporters and staff on hand, Yukon's director of communications has threatened that reporter that took that viral video. That reporter being joey ellis a sports reporter for Queen City News and Charlotte and Bobby Mullen is the name of this director of communications. He actually doubled down and put out a statement saying the lasting image of coach Hurley leaving the court should have been him walking off the court arm in arm with his seniors overwhelmed with emotion. Instead a reporter who was in an area he should not have been recorded on his cell phone a private comment made to members of another coaching staff.
Hold on, like, I love Danny Hurley, but if you're gonna say it, like, stand on, yeah, Like what do we like? Why is a reporter in trouble? And it's not like this the first time Danny Hurley's had an outburst. During the course of the season, this has happened a lot, which is why some people look at him and go, wow, you know, the act is growing tired, et cetera.
Not for me. I think he's great, But he said it publicly. What's the heck?
Yeah, that's the thing, the same thing players are told.
It's the same thing coaches.
Obviously have to exercise as well. Which is restraint and which is control? I mean you you just lost your yukon your you know, people know who you are as a coach. I mean, you gotta be careful in the thing. Don't say it if you don't want it to be consumed. You said it for somebody to hear it. The person that heard it heard it, and somebody else heard.
It, and they're in the public forum and they were in the tunnel.
It's not like the reporters campaign.
And it's not like it was like he recorded a private phone call of the guy or he had wire tapped his his cell phone. Like dude, he said it outside with other people around. And so but here's here's the other issue, Like some of these sids and these director of communications for some of these coaches are just gatekeepers. Like you can't go near them, you can't discuss it, you can't have a conversation about it. It's like, dude, there's a ton of people around. It was a game that was watched by a lot of people. There were people in the building, and the guy made a comment that other people heard.
That's what it is.
