Ep 31 | Dr. Mark Jordan of Hope Church

Rick Probst of 2 Pastors Unplugged, this podcast sits down with Kevin Pounds, Executive Director of The Bridge Communities, to explore how hope is being rebuilt for Cobb County families in crisis.

Across every Cobb zip code, hard-working families are living in motels, couch surfing, or sleeping in cars. The Bridge Communities is changing that by creating small, smart cottage neighborhoods on faith-based land—giving families a safe place to land and launch. It’s not a handout. It’s a reset.

Rick and Kevin dive into why this matters:
2,600 Cobb students are currently classified as unhoused.
The need is real—and so is the solution.

Together, they unpack how The Bridge:

Partners with churches to transform unused property into transitional housing

Builds thoughtful cottage communities

Supports families for 6–24 months through stable housing and wraparound services

Be the Bridge is a conversation about compassion, community, and practical hope—inviting you to join the movement that’s restoring stability one family at a time.
