How do true believers demonstrate their love for Christ in their daily walk? In this episode of Yoke Breakers, Brother Willie James Gordon Jr. explores the foundational call to keep Jesus' commandments and live out genuine Christian love and forgiveness.

Examining key passages across the Old and New Testaments—including John, Leviticus, Romans, Ephesians, Matthew, and Proverbs—Brother Willie emphasizes that walking with God requires setting aside worldly titles, forsaking past sinful habits, and maintaining a steadfast commitment to prayer, fasting, and Scripture study.

Key Takeaways

Love as the Chief Commandment: Jesus commands His followers to love one another as He loved us, putting away hatred, malice, and vengeance (John 13:34–35, John 15:17).

Forgiveness and Non-Vengeance: Believers are instructed to leave vengeance to God, pray for enemies, and forgive others as God in Christ forgave us (Leviticus 19:18, Romans 12:19, Ephesians 4:31–32).

True Spiritual Family: According to Jesus, true spiritual kinship belongs to those who hear and do the will of God in Heaven (Matthew 12:46–50).

Living a Separated Life: True conversion means coming out from old worldly habits, putting on the "new creature" in Christ, and walking in continuous repentance (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Anchored in Wisdom and Prayer: Trusting God with all your heart, seeking His direction daily, and hiding His Word in your heart provides power over temptation and spiritual warfare (Proverbs 3:5–7, Proverbs 4:4–22).

Jesus said keep my commandments

In this powerful broadcast, Brother Willie James Gordon Jr. delivers an urgent message on the essential role of the Holy Spirit—the Helper, Comforter, and Ruach HaKodesh—in the lives of believers today. Addressing the spiritual battles and deceptions of modern times, he emphasizes that human effort alone is insufficient to navigate life's challenges. Drawing from scripture across multiple Bible translations, the message highlights the necessity of spiritual discernment to identify deceptive forces, the divine power released through biblical fasting and prayer, and the importance of yielding full control of one's life to God's Spirit.

Key Takeaways:

The Essential Role of the Helper: Believers cannot survive spiritual warfare or fulfill God’s purpose without relying on the Holy Spirit, who guides, teaches, and convicts.

The Necessity of Discernment: Spiritual discernment is critical for seeing beyond surface appearances and identifying deceptive influences operating even within religious settings.

The Power of Prayer and Fasting: Breakthroughs, deliverance, and spiritual authority require disciplined spiritual habits, including sincere prayer and true biblical fasting.

Yielding Control: True spiritual growth happens when individuals allow the Spirit of God to control their lives, enabling them to overcome fleshly desires and walk in righteousness.

Unpardonable Sin: Scriptural warnings underscore the gravity of speaking against or blaspheming the Holy Spirit.

Title: Faith is the Substance: Unlocking God’s Supernatural Power in Your Life

Description: Join Sister Gordon, co-founder of Yoke Breakers Deliverance Ministry, on Family Value Radio (KXXT 1010 AM) as she delivers a powerful, spirit-filled message on how faith acts as the physical substance bridging God's supernatural power into our everyday lives. Drawing from rich scripture and her own extraordinary personal testimony—where faith stood against a stage 4 cancer diagnosis—Sister Gordon explores how unwavering trust in God’s Word breaks yokes, moves impossible obstacles, and releases healing.

Key Takeaways

Faith as Tangible Substance: Faith is the spiritual material and evidence God uses to manifest His promises from the unseen realm into the natural world.

Walking by Belief, Not Sight: Believers are called to live, speak, and stand on the Word of God regardless of physical circumstances, symptoms, or human wisdom.

Moving Impossible Obstacles: Unbelief halts progress, but even mustard-seed-sized faith—supported by prayer and fasting when facing deep-seated spiritual battles—can move mountains.

Miracles Are God's Normal: God is not bound by physical laws; His supernatural power operates continuously for those who abide in Christ and trust His promises.

Faith is the substance

Title: Yoke Breakers: Fear Is Torment — Walking in Divine Protection Over Demonic Fear

Description: In this powerful message broadcast, Sister Gordon of Yoke Breakers Deliverance Ministries addresses the root of demonic fear and how it holds believers in bondage. Fear brings torment, anxiety, and physical weakness, but God has not given His children a spirit of fear. Sister Deborah challenges Christians who rely on weapons like AR-15s for self-defense, reminding us that true safety, shelter, and security come solely through faith in God's promises and divine protection.

Key Takeaways:

The Physical & Emotional Impact of Fear: Demonic fear causes panic, depression, an inability to think rationally, and physical distress, shutting down bodily functions and weakening the immune system.

Demonic Fear vs. Reverent Fear: Differentiating between the reverent fear (respect and obedience) of God and satanic fear, which brings terror, horror, and torment.

Faith vs. Firepower: Relying on firearms for personal protection reflects a lack of faith in God’s covenant of protection. True "sheep" trust in the Lord rather than weapons.

The Covenant of Divine Protection: Salvation includes complete physical and spiritual protection, guarded by God’s angels and sealed by His promises.

Obedience as the Key to Peace: Walking in faith and acting on God's word frees believers from the spirit of fear and brings a sound mind.

Scripture References:

2 Timothy 1:7 – God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.

Isaiah 41:10 – "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God..."

Isaiah 54:17 – "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper..."

John 14:1 – "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me."

Romans 8:15 – Receiving the Spirit of adoption rather than the spirit of bondage to fear.

1 John 4:18 – Perfect love casts out fear because fear has torment.

Fear is torment

One Sin

Yoke Breakers Deliverance Ministries—delivers a teaching on the necessity and purpose of divine chastisement, drawing parallels between God's discipline of believers and earthly parental responsibility.

Key Takeaways

Definition and Purpose of Chastisement: Defines chastisement as loving correction and discipline intended to keep believers on the path of righteousness rather than a expression of anger.

Biblical vs. Secular Discipline: Contrasts biblical teachings on parental discipline (such as using the "rod of correction" out of love) with modern secular viewpoints, emphasizing that early discipline instills long-term wisdom and self-control.

Evidence of Sonship: Explains that divine discipline serves as proof of a believer's relationship with God, arguing that those left without correction are not operating as true children of God.

Fruit of Righteousness: Emphasizes that while correction feels grievous initially, enduring it yields spiritual maturity, peace, and ultimate protection from spiritual ruin.

Yoke Breakers Deliverance Ministries addresses the critical need for a complete gospel in today's ministry. Exploring the biblical charge found in 2 Timothy, she breaks down why spiritual leaders and believers alike must balance encouragement with the courage to confront sin directly and warn of its ultimate consequences. Discover why delivering only "feel-good" messages leaves congregations unprepared—and why preaching the full Word of God is essential for true salvation and spiritual integrity.

Key Takeaways

The Three Pillars of Sound Preaching: A complete gospel requires three distinct elements:

Reprove: Publicly and directly exposing sin to confront deception.

Rebuke: Warning believers and non-believers about the real consequences of unrepentant sin.

Exhort: Encouraging, comforting, and building up those striving to live righteously.

The Danger of an Incomplete Gospel: Preaching exhortation alone creates a "feel-good" environment that fails to bring conviction, leaving listeners stuck in habitual sin.

Ministerial Accountability: Spiritual leaders are held accountable by God to deliver His entire Word without holding back out of fear of rejection, loss of popularity, or offending others.

Courage in Sound Doctrine: Standing for the truth often brings opposition, but delivering the full message of God is required to keep souls off the path to destruction.

Episode Title: Perilous Times: The Perfect Condition for DelusionEpisode Description

In this message, Sister Deborah Gordon, co-founder of Yoke Breakers Deliverance Ministry, delivers a teaching on spiritual warfare, societal deception, and end-times warnings. Drawing from New Testament epistles and Old Testament prophecy, the sermon examines how cultural instability, moral decline, and media-driven narratives create an environment ripe for spiritual delusion and the erosion of sound doctrine.

Key Takeaways

Characteristics of Perilous Times: A detailed breakdown of 2 Timothy 3, highlighting societal indicators such as rampant pride, cold-heartedness, unrestrained behavior, and forms of godliness lacking spiritual power.

Defining the Spirit of Delusion: Defines delusion both medically and spiritually as an unshakeable adherence to untruth despite clear evidence, framing political and cultural deception as a precursor to spiritual blindness.

The Danger of Compromised Doctrine: Addresses the rise of "itching ears" and churches that dilute biblical truth to accommodate modern lifestyles rather than preaching repentance.

Call to Spiritual Vigilance: Urges believers to look past political and cultural distractions, cultivate spiritual discernment through prayer, and anchor themselves in Christ.

Featured Bible Passages

08-01-26 - Perilous Times

Yoke Breakers Deliverance Ministry, delivers an urgent biblical warning regarding "tares in the church." Drawing from Jesus's Parable of the Wheat and Tares in Matthew 13, this message breaks down both the natural and spiritual nature of the Lolium temulentum (darnel)—a mimic weed that closely resembles genuine wheat until the harvest.

Discover how enemy-planted deceptions, hypocrites, and false teachers operate within religious spaces, why God permits the wheat and tares to grow together until the end times, and how believers can discern true spiritual fruit. Above all, receive encouragement that as "good seed," you are fully equipped by God to stand firm, resist distractions, and press forward toward the prize of your high calling in Christ Jesus.

Key Takeaways

The Anatomy of a Tare: Just as Lolium temulentum (darnel) imitates genuine wheat in the natural world, spiritual "tares" put on a form of godliness to blend into the church through pretense and hypocrisy.

Why Both Grow Together: Grounded in Matthew 13:29, God allows wheat and tares to grow alongside each other until harvest to protect the true believer from being uprooted prematurely.

Discerning Fruit Under Pressure: False pretenses can only last so long—true character and spiritual fruit are ultimately revealed when tested by circumstances and trials (Matthew 7:16–20).

Equipped to Stand: Believers are urged not to be discouraged or derailed by church hypocrisy, knowing that "greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world" (1 John 4:4).

Scripture References

Matthew 13:24–30, 36–43 – The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares.

2 Corinthians 11:14–15 – Satan transformed into an angel of light and his ministers.

Matthew 7:15–23 – Beware of false prophets; knowing them by their fruits.

2 Peter 2:1 & 1 John 4:1 – Testing the spirits and discerning false teachers.

Jeremiah 14:14 – Warning against false visions and deceitful prophecies.

Romans 8:35–39 – Nothing shall separate believers from the love of Christ.

1 John 4:4 – Greater is He that is in you.

Philippians 3:13–14 – Pressing toward the mark of the high calling.

Romans 10:9 – Confession of faith unto salvation.
