The WSJM Sports Player of the Week is Jakob Diamond of St. Joseph boys basketball.  

St. Joe went 2-0 during the week with the Bears coming back from a 12 point deficit to beat Gull Lake 54-53, and then the Bears beat Mattawan 66-61.

Jakob had 11 points in the win over Gull Lake and 20 points in the win at Mattawan.

He's also a member of the St. Joseph High School Orchestra and has a 3.963 GPA.
