• White Sox and the Cubs were off.   Cubs host Blue Jays today at 2:20, Sox in Houston.
• Cubs Hall of Famer Ryne Sandburg announced he's cancer free, after being diagnosed with prostate cancer earlier this year.
• Wrigley Field will host a pair of College Hockey double headers featuring Big Ten teams,  The Frozen Confines will have Notre Dame/Penn State and Michigan/Ohio State on January 3, then on January 4th, Michigan State to face Wisconson, followed by women's game between Ohio State and Wisconsin.
