Tara Houska is a tribal attorney, activist, founder of the Giniw Collective - an Indigenous womxn-led frontline resistance movement, and Co-Founder of Not Your Mascots. She joins Sophia on "Work In Progress" to share her story, the impacts of whitewashing and erasure of a whole community, the substantial harm of environmental racism, the importance of treaties and the lack of federal response to violence against Native women, and much more. Tara talks about how we can lend our support and what justice really looks like.
