You've probably read stories or talk about data centers. Data centers are facilities that house computing infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and other components necessary to store, process, and distribute large amounts of data. These data centers are the backbone of the modern digital age. Much of the publicity has involved communities that object to the creation and construction of these centers in communities. The 7 Rivers Alliance will focus on data Centers for its State of the Region Annual Meeting. That meeting is set for Tuesday, February 24 starting at 3:00 PM at the La Crescent Area Event Center.
