On today’s show, I chat with Michael from Melbourne based band, Forklift Assassins. I first came across the band in pre Covid gig days, and more recently, my band, Relays, have done several gigs with the group, including a couple in Adelaide. Forklift Assassins may well be one of the country’s hardest working bands, seemingly playing somewhere most weekends. The band play a punk influenced brand of hard rock in the vein of Motorhead and even when playing for a small bunch or punters, always give 100%. They’re the kind of band I love to play after because they always set a high bar with the delivery of their music making it incumbent upon subsequent bands to bring their own A game!
