Today Drew and Trae talk about the upcoming holidays, being around family you don’t see eye to eye with, the wild times you have before you become a parent

Trae Crowder, Corey Ryan Forrester and Drew Morgan are comedians from the south on The WellRED comedy tour. This here is the podcast they record on the road. Sometimes a friend or two will show up but more often than not its just 3 buddies arguing about everything from Politics (gross) to whether or not Dinosaurs had feathers (fun!) #299- The Pre Baby Midlife Crisis

*while the WellRED podcast may be dead (for now!) the 3 of us are not, so you can expect random episodes to pop up here and there. If it’s not something you are interested in, just don’t listen! You won’t hurt or feelings!*

The New York Times ruffled some feathers this past week and for once it wasn’t because of how they gloss over some of the many horrors coming out of Gaza! (Sorry. My bad. That will be the last political thing I have to say for this series, I promise!)

As any “best of” list by a major publication is wont to do, their “Best TV Shows of The 21st Century” list got many people talking and stirred up a bit of controversy regarding how high up certain shows were, how low others were, and then of course their were some glaring omissions in the opinion of many readers!

Key word there being “opinion”. We all know that art is subjective, and because of that, I have decided to frame my personal list as “favorite shows” instead of “best shows”. Obviously you’d think that if I considered something my favorite, then I must also consider it the best, but that’s actually not true! For instance, I think that The Godfather is one of the greatest movies of all time, if not THE best, but if they were going head to head, I’d much prefer Tombstone (I can almost see the comments pouring in now 😂)

For this first podcast in what I assume will be at bare minimum a 2 part series, I’ve listed all the shows (off the top of my head) that I consider “contenders” for my personal top 10. I list them in no particular order as far as merit goes, it’s just the order in which they popped in my head when I was deciding to do this. That list is as follows:

My best shows of 21 century. Podcast about this

Mad Men

Breaking Bad

Scrubs

30 Rock

True Detective season 1

Mind hunter

Six Feet Under

Slow Horses

The Wire

Always Sunny In Philadelphia

Veep

The Thick Of It.

Extras

Derek

Afterlife

Game of Thrones

The Expanse

Fleabag

Curb Your Enthusiasm

The Dorals of Corfu

For all mankind

Sugar season 1

Severance

Ted Lasso

Chappell show

The Good Place

Barry

Louie

Billions

Peaky Blinders

Downton Abbey

The Crown

Justified

Doctor Who

Arrested development

Fargo

The Office

Parks and Rec

Eastbound and Down

Homeland

Black Mirror

Reacher

Dexter

Deadwood

Rectify

Derry Girls

House Of Cards

Bojack Horseman

Castlvania

The Boys

Daredevil

Rick and Morty

Plurubis

The Queens Gambit

I think you should leave

ANDOR

Loudermilk

The Pitt

Catastrophe

The Great British Baking Show

I have no doubt left off a lot that are worthy of being on this list, and in my manic state have no doubt added some that do not even warrant being considered, but hey, that’s the fun of it!

Listen and comment down below any omissions you think I made in haste! That will help me structure part 2!

Thank you all for being here! I thought this would make for a fun listen on your Saturday walk!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

More Later
