Hosted by two unapologetically black women with an opinion who talk back, TamBam and AJ are helping women maneuver through the Sea of Men! "We Talk Back” podcast is here to guide femininity to its ultimate greatness. We Talk Back podcast is giving their listeners the raw and unfiltered comedic gift of repartee. With thought-provoking conversations about sex, relationships, and money with a dash of danger and glitter. TamBam & AJ will also help listeners seeking non-professional guidance, as these ladies deliver advice and their personal thoughts on topics.

AJ Holiday and TamBam welcome Chantal Heide, known as “Canada’s Dating Coach” and author of No More Assholes, to We Talk Back for an unfiltered conversation about modern dating, relationship standards, and the importance of boundaries. Chantal breaks down her “corporate model” for intentional dating, encouraging women to date multiple people while avoiding kissing, sex, sleepovers, and exclusivity for at least three months. She explains the difference between “guys” and “men,” challenges questions about body count, and argues that rushing physical intimacy can make it harder to recognize red flags and walk away from unhealthy relationships.

Drawing from 20 years as a stripper, her personal dating experiences, and the journey to meeting her husband, Chantal shares why screening potential partners matters just as much as setting boundaries. The conversation explores emotional attachment, self-worth, meditation, accountability, and choosing long-term compatibility over instant chemistry. Ultimately, AJ, TamBam, and Chantal challenge listeners to rethink their dating habits, communicate expectations early, and prioritize character, consistency, and emotional maturity when looking for lasting love.

AJ Holiday and TamBam catch up after AJ’s relaxing Jamaica getaway and Tam’s busy salon season before jumping into “SINS.” They debate whether Savannah James should be expected to upgrade a friend from coach to first class, defend Jasmine Guy against criticism of her appearance surrounding the A Different World revival, and discuss Kendrick Sampson’s comments about potentially having children with close female friends rather than within romantic relationships.

For the main topic, AJ and Tam explore “cliteracy,” inspired by Regina Thomashure’s Pussy: A Reclamation, and the importance of understanding and communicating what brings you pleasure. The candid conversation covers desire, boundaries, sexual communication, faking orgasms, and becoming more comfortable expressing your needs, before closing with a self-date exercise centered on self-care, affirmation, and prioritizing yourself.

Cliteracy

In this episode of We Talk Back, AJ Holiday and TamBam kick things off with some Jamaica banter before diving into “SINS,” including a disturbing Florida arrest involving alleged bestiality caught on home surveillance and reported changes involving FBI background-check disqualifiers. They also react to the controversy surrounding Every Woman, artist Tschabalala Self’s new “Lady in Blue” sculpture in London’s Trafalgar Square, before unpacking racism, prejudice, and violence within communities. The conversation gets even more personal after discussing a Kansas man who discovered a racial slur printed on an oil-change sticker from a Ford dealership.

For the main topic, AJ and TamBam ask a question many people confront after a relationship ends: Did you waste your time—or did you stay too long? They unpack why women may feel the weight of lost time differently, accountability for ignoring signs and overstaying relationships, biological clocks, boundaries, and the contrast between women regretting time invested and men regretting money spent. Ultimately, the ladies encourage listeners to choose themselves, demand reciprocity, stop waiting for the “perfect” time to make a change, and release relationships and situations that no longer serve them to create space for something better.
