On our #WonderWomen series, we speak to Monisha Rajesh, a serial traveller, explorer, writer, and author. She’s written Around India in 80 Trains which was named one of the top 10 books on India by The Independent. Her second book, Around the World in 80 Trains won the National Geographic Travel Book of the year and was shortlisted for the Stanford Dolman Award.

As a journalist whose writing has appeared in Time magazine, Vanity Fair, The New York TimesThe Guardian, etc . 

Born in Norfolk and raised in Yorkshire, with a brief stint in Madras, Monisha currently lives in London with her husband and two daughters.
