March is Myeloma Month

For Myeloma Month (March), this week's PODCAST with Mario Corena & ''Vogliamoci Bene'', we welcome in Studio Sanremo special guest John Cortazzo, Myeloma Ambassador.

John is  a family man, has a daughter and a son and is well supported by their mother Elena.

He is also a Business man with a thriving sales agency, called JCSM Sales Management, since 2009. He employs 9 staff based in SA but operating nationally.

In 2016 his world would change forever. First diagnosed with Pneumonia, and pain his back, with further test revealing Multiple Myeloma, which John will talk more within this PODCAST.

John has turned his focus now on awareness as Myeloma Australia ambassador and raising funds through Charity TV and now Flinders Foundation.

In this PODCAST we ask John the following :

1) As an ice breaker tell us where you were born, what suburb did you live in, schools you attended?

2) So in 2016 you were diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. So firstly can you tell us what is Myeloma, and then what is Multiple Myeloma?

3) So what was your treatment?

4) Is it curable?

5)  How was your Mental health when you were first told, then though your treatment and as of today.

6) Is there any research going on at the moment and have you been involved?

7) So how did you become an Ambassador for Myeloma Australia.

8) And then Charity TV? What was involved with that?

9) And now the link with Flinders Foundation? What is your involvement there?

10) I believe you are doing a presentation soon for them? What are the details?

11) Where to from here John? And any words of wisdom?
