In this episode of Verdict with Ted Cruz, Senator Ted Cruz and Ben Ferguson discuss the ongoing unrest in France, debate the challenges of immigration and assimilation in Western nations, analyze Senator Alyssa Slotkin’s comments about future Trump administration employees, and review reports surrounding a federal investigation involving Representative Ilhan Omar and allegations of immigration fraud.

Violence and unrest in France, allegations surrounding Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, and comments from Senator Alyssa Slotkin about future Trump administration staffers drive a wide-ranging political discussion. Ted Cruz and Ben Ferguson examine reports of riots, looting, and public disorder in France, arguing that immigration policy, assimilation, and government leadership are central to the debate. They discuss viral videos that circulated online during the unrest and what they believe those events signal for Europe and the United States. The conversation then turns to remarks by Michigan Senator Alyssa Slotkin at the University of Chicago. Cruz argues that her comments about creating a deterrent effect for young people considering jobs in a future Trump administration reflect a broader pattern of political weaponization and partisan retaliation. The episode also focuses on reports regarding a federal investigation involving Representative Ilhan Omar. Cruz and Ferguson discuss allegations that have circulated concerning immigration records, identity questions, and claims related to her first marriage, while emphasizing the significance of legal accountability and due process.
