Despite STEM being fundamental to sustainable development, women and girls remain underrepresented and they continue to face barriers that limit their participation in these fields – from gender stereotypes to limited access to quality education. Promoting STEM education for girls can help bridge the gender gap and empower the next generation of female innovators.
