The drama could be positioned in a township, a suburb, or a village to explore and speak on challenges ordinary citizens go through. At the end of it all, they triumph, and these stories aim to inform, educate, and entertain the public.

WC Education MEC says the province has added 500 classrooms through itsrapid school build programme

More than 300 people are living at the former Zimbabwean consulate in Bruma, Johannesburg, waiting to be repatriated. The Zimbabwean government has stopped providing buses for displaced immigrants. Civil society groups under the Siyafana Sonke Action Campaign have been assisting with food, medical supplies, hygiene products and other provisions. A massive Mandrax operation has been uncovered at a secluded smallholding in Erasmia, west of Pretoria. Police say the suspected laboratory had the capacity to produce up to 800-thousand tablets a day. Two foreign nationals have been arrested,. The laboratory was hidden on a secluded farm, about 20 minutes from the main road. Police say what appeared to be a quiet property was allegedly being used for large-scale illicit drug manufacturing. addressing the media in Erasmia, west of Pretoria. Security experts are warning the country is shifting from a mere transit route into a command and manufacturing base for global cartels. To discuss this matter further Sakina Kamwendo spoke to the director of the Security Initiative for Africa (SIA) Willem Els

Members of Parliament's Ad Hoc committee, excluding the ANC, have agreed that there is evidence that businessman and self-proclaimed political fixer, Brown Mogotsi, had influence over Senzo Mchunu, the police minister who was placed on special leave in July 2025. Committee members are in the process of compiling their draft preliminary report. The committee was established to investigate concerns over national security.
