UK Conservative Party leader, Rishi Sunak has resigned as Conservative Party leader after a catastrophic performance. The Labour has won the United Kingdom general election in a landslide victory, ending 14 years of Conservative government. Britain's Labour Party leader Keir Starmer will be the new prime minister. Sunak says he takes responsibility for his party's performance. Sakina Kamwendo spoke to the Senior Research Fellow and Director at Africa Asia Dialogues, Thembisa Fakude
