COSATU calls on workers to come out in their numbers for Monday's protests against joblessness in South Africa

Union federation, Cosatu is calling on workers to come out in their numbers on Monday, 7 October and join the National Day of Action against the crippling economic crisis in the country. Cosatu says the staggering unemployment rate in the country are worrying. Cosatu says about 11.3 million people need jobs in the country, and this includes people who have given up looking for work. The union is demanding a moratorium on retrenchments. Sakina Kamwendo spoke to Cosatu's National spokesperson, Zanele Sabela.
