Former EFF Chairperson, Advocate Dali Mpofu has announced his departure from the party to join  uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party. Mpofu says he believes the MK Party is the only vehicle to achieve unity and true emancipation. Meanwhile, EFF leader, Julius Malema says all is well, the party will keep on standing and rising. ActionSA says it welcomes the action taken by City of Tshwane Mayor Dr Nasiphi Moya to suspend MMC Kholofelo Morodi pending the outcome of a full investigation into the allegations arising from the Madlanga Commission.  The party says it commends Dr Moya for directing immediate engagement with the Madlanga Commission and for working to ensure cooperation between the City and the Commission, so that the City can urgently protect and uphold the integrity of its institutions. Gauteng's Organised Crime Unit, Sergeant Fannie Nkosi says he is the one who inquired about his brother's company tender compliance status with Tshwane Municipality Chief Financial Officer Gareth Mnisi. Responding to Madlanga Commission Evidence Leader Advocate Mathew Chaskalson, Nkosi says it is then that Mnisi asked for his brother's company vendor number.
