South Africa's Global Sumud Flotilla support team member Nazim Adam has expressed relief on the safe return of activists who were detained in Israel after their humanitarian envoy was intercepted en route to Gaza.

Six activists from the South african Global Sumud Flotilla which includes among them uNkosi Zwelivelile Mandla Mandela have received a warm welcome at OR Tambo International Airport. The group, detained by Israeli forces while attempting to deliver aid to Gaza were met with applause after their release. Speaking on behalf of the activists at the OR Tambo international airport , Mandela expressed deep gratitude to supporters and urged South Africans to sustain their solidarity until the suffering in Palestine ends Sakina Kamwendo spoke to South Africa's Global Sumud Flotilla support team member Nazim Adam
