The border management authority says it has wrapped up the exit leg of its festive season border operations and is now shifting focus to the return phase, running from today 1 to 15 January 2026. The authority says it processed heavy traveller volumes across all 71 ports, intercepting over 7,000 undocumented movements, mostly at land borders. Groblersbridge recorded the highest detections.  We understand Commissioner Michael Masiapato will oversee return operations at Beitbridge from 2 January.
