Former EFF secretary-general, Godrich Gardee has has accused Eswatini Monarch, Mswati the 3rd, of used foreign intelligence to kill his daughter, Hillary Gardee. He says his twitter account has not been hacked, adding that he stands by tweets he posted on his official page on Tuesday morning in which he notes how on the 12th of April 2022, he led a protest which saw four borders with Eswatini being shutdown for more than 6 hours. This protest, Gardee alleges, angered the King of eSwatini and who allegedly unleashed his foreign intelligence services with a robbery decoy resulting in the death of his daughter, Hilary. Former head of the National Prosecuting Authority Vusi Pikoli has told the Truth and Reconciliation Commission that the independence of the National Prosecuting Authority must be protected, even while maintaining cooperation with the government. Pikoli says his approach was always based on tactical flexibility, sharing information where necessary without compromising the NPA's constitutional independence. Pikoli also recalled a meeting with several ministers where concerns were raised about prosecutions linked to apartheid-era activities. He says some feared that pursuing certain cases could trigger renewed calls to prosecute former liberation movement members for actions before 1994. Suspended SAPS Organized Crime Head Richard Shibiri says he did not get himself involved but was tasked by General Shadrack Sibiya to find out what charges Katiso KT Molefe was arrested on. Shibiri was responding to Evidence Leader Lee Seegels-Ncube's question on his invoment in the arrest of Katiso KT Molefe whilst he was on leave and off duty.
