Acting National Police Commissioner Lieutenant General Puleng Dimpane has praised Gauteng SAPS and the Ekurhuleni Metro Police for disrupting a suspected cash-in-transit robbery gang in Daveyton. Acting on intelligence, officers recovered seven rifles, a pistol, reflector jackets and a hijacked BMW X5 at a suspected safe house. Police say a manhunt is underway for suspects who escaped.
