Several public service institutions have been disrupted as the National Education and Health Workers Union (NEHAWU) has forged ahead with its planned public service strike. The strike comes after the union appealed a court order, obtained by the Department of Public Service and Administration, to interdict the strike action. Public servants are unhappy with government's tabled offer averaging at a pensionable increase of 4.7% for the 2023/24 financial year. Sakina Kamwendo spoke to NEHAWU National Spokesperson, Lwazi Nkolonzi.
