Mpumalanga Premier, Mandla Ndlovu says the procurement process was not followed when 22 laptops were bought by the provincial Department of Education. He says the devices, that allegedly cost over two-million-rand, were also not in a good condition and of lesser quality. Ndlovu said the money spent on the laptops would be recovered from the service providers that allegedly connived with departmental officials and they will also be blacklisted nationally and provincially.
