National Police Commissioner, General Fannie Masemola, has announced that 85-thousand suspects have been arrested for various crimes across the country in the last month. Masemola was speaking during a media briefing at a roadblock in Houghton, Johannesburg, on Wednesday where he provided an update on the SAPS countrywide operations. He was joined by the National Head of the HAWKS, Lieutenant General Godfrey Lebeya, who highlighted that law enforcement officers implicated in extortion and corruption will be dealt with
