Local residents together with traditional leaders have expressed shock and dismay at the brutal killing of seven members of the Khambule family in Highflats, KwaZulu-Natal. The local community in the area, together with the province's police commissioner, Lt. General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi and the Premier, Thami Ntuli gathered at the family's house to pay their last respects and mourn with the family. National police commissioner, General Fannie Masemola says he has already been briefed about the incident and the necessary deployments to help with the investigation are already on the ground.
