Mozambique is reeling under its worst election-related violence since its civil war ended 32 years ago. A deadly prison riot in Mozambique's capital, Maputo, has left about 33 people dead and 15 others injured, according to the country's police general commander, Bernardino Rafael. Thousands of inmates reportedly escaped from a maximum-security prison in Maputo yesterday. Authorities have since recaptured 150 prisoners.
