View descriptionShare

Baby savers and safe havens across Gauteng are up in arms after the Gauteng Department of Social Development declared all private temporary safe care homes illegal and ordered their immediate closure. In its directive, the department cited concerns with the legal implications in the care and protection of children, as well as the responsibilities of parents to the child. For more on this we are joined on the line by Baby Saver Founding Member, Sandy Immelman and Director of Child Protection Services at the Gauteng Department of Social Development, Yvonne Deonarain.
