The Pro-Makhado Task Team has threatened to once again disrupt services around Vuwani in Limpopo by embarking on a total shutdown today. They are accusing the provincial government of failing to implement President Jacob Zuma's decision that the area should temporarily get municipal services from the Vhembe district. Some residents have rejected the Municipal Demarcation Board's decision to incorporate them into LIM345 and they have been demanding to return to the Makhado Local Municipality. More than 50 people have left their spouses, children, jobs and even stopped taking chronic medication to become part of Ekhaya Labafundi bakaJehova - a congregation at KwaMaphumulo north of Durban - to dedicate their lives entirely to serving Christ. Congregants came from across the country, to live full-time on the property. They do not leave the church to socialise in the outside world, as they call it. They also do not go to clinics and hospitals - saying it goes against their faith. The community describes itself as an independent kingdom, operating separately from what they call the normal world,  SABC reporter Celumusa Zulu reports

Several parents at Fundakwazi Primary School in Mpumalanga have raised serious concerns after allegations emerged that a man working as a gardener at the school sexually violated a number of learners. The incident has once again highlighted growing fears about the safety of children in schools, which are meant to be secure environments for teaching and protection. Mpumalanga police probe alleged school child assault.

Police are yet to confirm the death toll in the collision between two vehicles on the N1 road near Modimolle in Limpopo. Reports say five people have been killed in the crash which happened this morning. Limpopo experiences high traffic volumes and road carnage during the Easter period. This as travellers head to various destinations. Sakina Kamwendo spoke to SABC reporter, Rendani Raliphaswa
