With forecasts calling for record-breaking corn and soybean yields this year, it’s time for scouts on the annual Pro Farmer Crop Tour to hit the fields to gather first-hand data. And who better to talk about what we can expect to learn than the King of Crop Tour himself, Brian Grete? He’s this episode’s special guest on Unscripted. During the four-day, seven-state tour, scouts visit more than 2,000 fields to gather insights into potential corn and soybean production. This year, five of the seven states could see all-time-record yields.
Unscripted is a show where scripts take a back seat. Hosts Tyne Morgan and Clinton Griffiths put down the teleprompters and let the conversations flow naturally. Each week, they bring in fellow Farm Journal hosts and editors and friends to share behind-the-scenes insights on the stories we've covered, giving you a chance to meet the personalities behind the personalities.
