I'm doing a lot today. So you all are my second stop. So I was just reading highlights of your life, your whole thirty five years you've had on this world, thirty six thirty six. Now, okay, by the way, my son's thirty seven, So just oh my god, you get that in perspective right there. You could be my child. See, that's why you're Can we cussom here? But you know, I read this intro about you and I was like, oh my god, you are so much more than a housewife, so much more. You worked with Obama. I did my house Yeah, his first term, I was in the White House, and then I went to the campaign to help re elect him for his second term. You graduated from Howard University. H Yeah, you were, Um wasn't Miss United States? Yes? Can you explain to me the difference? I'm configured so many because there was all this drama with Dubai and somebody supposedly wasn't the mess that they said they were allegedly. Oh, um, Lisa was. It was a pageant girl, right, correct, But what's the difference between like Miss USA, Miss United States, Miss America. They're they're also there are they're called systems, pageant systems. So if you were to rank them and I don't, I would get in trouble for doing this wrong. But Universe and USA are probably at the top, and then America falls somewhere under there, and then everything else kind of falls under that. So you have United States International. Earth is probably i would say two or three on the list because they're doing really well right now. And most of these pageants have local prelems, so you have to compete in your county and then your state, and then you go to the national competition. Universe has an international component, as does Earth International as well. There are so many now that it's hard to keep up. But I'm a bona fide paget. I was competing in pageants at five years old. Question. I didn't have a flip, but my mom wouldn't let me do the glama. I did the natural pageants as a girl, and then I moved up because well, my mom was like my mom was very was very glam but she just didn't want me to get too into make up too soon at five. Yeah, at five, yea, I want you know, I don't want to push her. Yeah, yeah, because she doesn't get to work until she's seven. Yes, boundaries, when what age did you stop competing? When I gave up my my national title in twenty fourteen, so I was Miss United States twenty thirteen. And then you reigned for a year and you give up your title, and after after you win like a big state or big national title. It's kind of over. I was going to compete in the Missus division. There's a division for married women. You would actually be great pageant women. It's fine, like you could be. I was also a pageant consultant. I could coach you. Yeah, I don't know. I don't coachable to walk and tried it, Brandy Glenville. I saw that. Yeah, we tried, but many things possible. You know what, we'll work on it when we the pod. That would be great. You know, we had to start off with a couple of questions, but the first one is Candice, says Giselle. Bryant was trying to be messy by doing this. On Real Housewives Girls Trip, Giselle asked the woman to divulge who they got the best and worst first impressions from during a round of impression session. Gizelle knows how to rally the troops and create space for games and fun things, she explains in an interview. So I'm going to choose to believe at this moment that she's maybe not trying. No, I'm lying, she was trying to be messy. I mean, obviously she's always trying to be messy, right, Yes, that's like her middle name. It is messy. Do you do you think that you guys got closer without the other m Green eyed bandit on Girls Trip? Yeah? Huh any moment. Oh so there was no close. Did you watch any of season seven of Potomac? I did, we did, But what did you film first? Yeah? That's what I was going. Okay, this is important, Okay, paying attention. We shot season seven of Potomac. Two weeks later, we went to Thailand. I had not seen any of season seven of Potomac. We had not shot the reunion, so you had completely filmed season seven. Two weeks later, you get on a plane, you go to Thailand with Giselle. Yeah. It was giving you a hard time all season, and much of what she did to try and fuck with Chris I didn't see until Potomac Season seven aired, which happened after we returned from Thailand. Oh my god. So I went into pot I went into Thailand attempting a blank slate, even though I was like, m M, I'm side eyeing you because you I know what you were trying to do it. Okay, you were trying to paint Chris as a Predator. Were you able to talk about your current season you just filmed in Thailand? Absolutely? Okay, yeah, yeah, because it comes after yeah we did, it came And then she was acting like, well, I wasn't going to bring anything up from what happened in Potomac? Could how could you not? It informed everything about where we were in Thailand, and also like, don't tap dance on my intelligence. Don't piss on me and tell me it's raining. Your middle name is mess. But all of a sudden you want to be mother Teresa when it comes to not bringing things up, like I was born in nineteen eighty six, not six o'clock this morning. Well, well, other than Giselle, who do you have the biggest issues with on Girls Trip? Um? Well, obviously I don't know if you know about the drama with Porscha we had, like during season five of Potomac, the event that she'll not be named. She was very vocal about her opinion because she was good friends with call her pet Cemetery with pet Cemetery, and um, she said, I what did she say? She said, I was trying to sue her for the down payment on my home, and like all these other crazy things and that you were trying to sue her. Yeah, no, sue pet Cemetery for the down payment on my home. And I was like, I don't, like, we've never even interacted. Why can you Why why all this smoke? What is this about? So I responded, and you know, my responses aren't on Twitter. It wasn't on Twitter. Wait wasn't on Twitter. No, it wasn't an interview. Interview. I mean that was a good question, because yes, that's that's where I go to release. That's but it wasn't an interview. Yeah, and he's got very good Yeah, he's Twitter. Yes, Eddie night driving up, I was telling him about Chris and he's watched a little bit of the show and he's like, that's bullshit. Well, I mean as a husband, right, like you're here to support your wife. He's been attacked as well. Oh yes, I've seen yeah, And this is the thing, like you have a husband and he supports you, and he loves you, and he's behind you. And the women that seemed to have this passion for attacking husbands and got one right. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I wonder why listen questions any answers? Yeah? Was there ever a moment that the quiring minds want to know? Yeah? Yeah. Was there ever a moment this Chris stuff the season caused you to reconsider doing the show or are you just like, no, I'm going anyone. No, I mean I've had those thoughts other seasons. Yeah, this season, this was so calculated and so rooted in just bullshit and fallacies and desperation. It just it was like a challenge for us, for Chris and I, and it's like we're just going to move through it and not allow it to I felt bad for you when you guys were in that little dance studio at the beginning of the season, I believe Yeah, I walked off and you into the bathroom and you tell the producers like, I'm not doing a bit this bullshit. Yeah. Yeah, And I didn't think that was gonna air, Like, yeah, of course. I literally was like, I'm getting up, I'm leaving. I'm not doing this nowadays on Housewives fourth interviews and everything. Yeah, I mean now like me doing my interviews, I'm not talking about that off camera, you know, not at all. Well, because they did it to a couple of you guys, like they would say, yeah, like I know, right, why would they do that? How is Wendy in real life? Because she's super cool. Sometimes we go back and forth and her. We'll watch one episode and I'm like, I'm loving Wendy and you next episode, I'm both love her. You are so brutal to me, right, Yeah, but she came out at the end and I left her in the reunion. But its good, let's go back to Porsche. So you did not have a good experience with her, No, so we did. I went in cautious because we had had that exchange. Okay, um, But I'm also an energy person and when I met her in person, she has good energy. She does and she's fun and I mean spoiler alert. I went to her wedding, so we got to a good place. By the end. I think we were both kind of like feeling each other out. It was like the beginning of a boxing match when everybody's just kind of like dancing around, like figuring what's gonna happen, and you know, toward the end, we did have some verbal exchanges on Girls Trip. I asked some questions that I feel like what everybody wanted to know, right like, and she but she answered them with grace and we were able to move on. And then there were some moments where I felt like she was kind of being a bully to certain people on the cast Leah in particular. I feel like she kind of joined in with Gazelle to bully Leah. And I don't like bullies, so I kind of like a gang up. Yeah okay, yes, like a like a pylon pile, and it doesn't make sense. If it makes sense, I'm still gonna have empathy because I don't like but it's like, okay, this is a justified pylon ish but just like we're bored and we have nothing to talk about, and somebody told us we probably should do this, so we're gonna do it. Like when it feels manufactured, yes, like you simmer down, Yeah, you're doing three much like it's I don't make it. So I didn't like that, and we we sort of had moments on that, but towards the end it was like Kiki, hey girl, and we were we were fine. We got to a good place. I love Porsha. I did a commercial with her for Fiber one Yes, and I got to know housewives, so it was really different experience. Yeah, and she was such a girl's girl. She is, and I was really like worried about her. Of all the people that were there, as Drenda was there, Melissa Organiza, and I was really like, oh, I don't know, I'm just gonna like me. She is so sweet. She's really so kind. She's like, let me fix your outfit and your butt looks good. Yeah, Oh my god, she's such a good girl. M Well, to take it to not a girl's girls situation as someone has been physically assaulted on the show, Yeah, what do you feel like the protocol should be when that happened? Honestly, before that happened, I don't know where I got this from. I just I thought that the rule was if you physically assault someone, you're automatically fired. I just I don't know where I I just thought that was the rule. I don't know if well, because you probably should be the rule contact like if you put your hands on me, yeah, goodbye, because why are you putting your hands on me? But Porsche wasn't. She wasn't what she she wasn't fired when she well, no, I mean no one has Well what do you think then when it comes to me and the windy situation? Um, you consider like the law defines it as assault. I like Mia off the show. MIA's persona on the show is a clusterfuck. Why can't she just be herself? Ask her? I don't know, it's really dumb. It's real dumb, Like it's it's exhausting to me because there are moments when you, guys, I don't know if your camera footage or like your own iPad footage where she seems like a fun person. She's a sagittarius, so I get her. Um, I've had moments with her off camera, and then you can also just look in someone's eyes and tell if they're a shitty person or not. For sure, she's a sweet girl who is lost in the sauce. Like she's she's more enamored with fame, fame, and approval than being herself, but from the fans are approval from her bosses? No, well her boss is being production. No. The women on the show, those are oh yes, So she's trying to appease the other women not oh yeah, yeah, okay, But what about Jacqueline because I really like that. I love Jacqueline. I like Jacquelyne shut out to Jacqueline. She. I did not like her at first because I was like, who is this hope, I'm going to hear hot running her mouth? Who is she? She is a mic go on where she come from? Yeah? Um? But once her and Mia started falling out and I again, you look in someone's eyes, you can tell she was heartbroken, very honest. Yes. So I kind of started to get to know her and talk to her more, and I felt like, this is a real woman who trusted her childhood friend to embark on this impossibly crazy journey that we all know about, and she betrayed her, Mia betrayed. It's like an ultimate betrayal. That absolutely is a family that took her in when she had no parents. Yes, and that's the part that it sold me for me, where I'm like, I don't, I don't know that I like her. And if you will do that to a friend of thirty years, what you going to do to me? Especially because most friends when they come on these shows, they're friends. It's a loose exactly, but when you're talking thirty years, this is history. That's a true Like you obviously went to bat to get this person on well to do what we or I didn't know this either, So Mia did not bring Jacqueline on. Robin recommended Jacqueline. Okay, so now that question, so do you think that Robin did all of that? Do you think that Robin is like the undercover chess player chess player Robin? Do you think so? No, Robin is very smart, Robin is that's probably one of the smartest. Really, Absolutely, it's very smart to go on Patreon and we'll talk about paying. You talk about your marriage at infertility, every talk about everything, and then you have somebody's going after your husband, yes, when they have real shit to talk about. I forgot about it. Like it's like you don't forget about it, you're talking about stuff three years ago and now you forgot about that. But I have to say, even when I even saw the interview, the extra added part to y'all's reunion, Yes, I was like, you're not getting we're still not getting any information. What a waste? Like I already watched this one. Watch what happens. I have a couple of weeks ago. Yes, give me something new. Give me either we're an open relationship, he can do whatever he wants or give me. So we are clarifying, Yes, you can respond to a DM, you'd be friendly. But if you're talking hotel information and travel, well, here's the thing she told Andy. So I'm like, I need to know where he is at all times. So that's why we did it originally. But now we both travel a lot, we both work a lot, and sometimes you know, I want to make sure that you're safe and vice versa. So that's why we have it. Yeah, and also you feel you sleep better when you know that the other person is somewhere. Yeah. Yeah, I tracked my kids too, and yeah, my parents tracking. I'm surprised she's not tracking me. I track my friends. I have, Yeah, my friends too. Do I have to start doing this? Yes? You should. People arguing snatch up be able to figure out how to do it. She wanted to figure out how to how to share her local to if I have to put my glasses on for us, it's too much worse. So we have to talk a little bit about more about Chris at the reunion, because we had Chris on would you guys know, we had him on before the reunion actually aired, so we hadn't seen it, ye, which he was amazing on the podcast. Then he came on the reunion, which I thought he was good on. But there was a point where he let his anger come through. Yes, which point are to kind of towards Edward. He kind of yells at Giselle, spit it out. But yeah, and I was like, oh, you had me until there was there like a moment where we were like squeezing his legs or you want it? You were like, go for it. I mean, because I know how far he will go. I know that he's he was not going to, you know, lunge at her or do anything egregiously crazy. Um. But this is a man who was asked not to speak publicly until the reunion was over. He and he respected that request. Um. He sat in silence and watched these women give fifteen different versions of a story that did affect his life, that did affect his career, that did affect his children and his family. It was very Our household was in shambles. It was emotionally just detrimental to our lives. Was there ever a moment where you were like, is there any or from the second you heard it you were like, no, not because I feel like every allegation was so ridiculous. It's like, you're not actors. Yeah, when the first scene came out, yes where they said, and I said, wait, wait, wait, wait a minute, right and she's sitting there her pearls just I was just not comfortable. It's like that is a bunch of nonsense. But but the one thing that really got me as the Ashley yes. And at that point my flags went up because you tried this at the dance studio and you didn't get a reaction out of me, So now you're sending your first pet rock to come and try me again. And at that point I was like, mm, I see what's because this is their m O. Every season they meet up. They met up this season for season eight. Already can we supply um everyone that's not me or Wendy or Karen. But hold on, now we're on Karen. I can't with her. At the reunion, I absolutely talk about doing the least Where's my Nail file? She was definitely in her mellow era at the reunion. Now I to be involved because it didn't even feel like she was friends with anybody, like she was so checked out.
