It pisces me off because everything I thought, I feel like I'm always misunderstood you. You're like you fully, I understand exactly what you're saying. You understand the assignment, you're getting it done. But it's not our fault that people are misunderstood there like, oh, we're just going to make an excuse for her because I like her. I'm like, no, I meant that, No, no, no, Well, we're happy to have you here. Um. I have to originally ask we we do? We start with housewife headlines? So you posted a little something I miss my It was something along the lines of modern family and did you, I did not. You are so full of it. You were being politically correct. Well, do you like I missed the holidays? How do you like that the kids for ten days straight? Actually, her and I get along great. It's it's the ex husband and I because we have to co parent and we don't see eye to eye on it. Okay, So what's your biggest issue? Um, I think my kids should have jobs, Like, well, your one son is modeling right, great? How long? He's nineteen and he's going to college. She's going to college, So what else do you want from his life? He's on academic probation and that happening to be home, Like doing your classes online and there's only one a day. You get a fucking job. Yeah, I actually agree with that. No, I do too. But he's modeling right or is that a slow process? And yeah, I mean he's had a few jobs and he's doing really well with that. But like he also had you know, he had his foot in the door. With Eddie being his dad and me being his mom, it came a little bit more easily for him than like, do you think that maybe it's a little harder for him because he doesn't want to he doesn't want to be anybody's shadow. No, No, I think somebody's shadow. I think that because my kids feel that way. They don't want to be like, they don't want to do TV stuff, which I have a daughter that is in actual movie production and she doesn't want it anything to do with what I do. And then I have another one that's a singer and she's like, I don't want you to moote me in and do anything. I want to do it on my own. I want to be in your shadow, like and he's like, I'll take whatever you guys, do you think that? I think you go through different phases, like there's different times in your life your were. I remember when I first moved out, I was like, I'm gonna get it all on my own. Meanwhile, the first interview that I had was because of a relationship that my dad had the agency, which I wouldn't. Once I was actually working there, I realized, Wow, nobody gets jobs here, even even though I worked in the mar room and I thought it was a ship job. I realized how hard it was to every other mail room person graduated from Harvard. I was barely got graduated from high school. John Mellencamp's your dad. Yeah, No, I was in denial of it until I came to l A because in any other place that you live, you don't realize how much that matters. Have you ever drop your dad's name to get anything in life? Isn't your last name Mellencamp? Do you have to drop it? Or my middle name is Mellencamp actually, because if your middle name was Joe, you would drop it as well. Yeah, I'm very confused by that. Standing. Teddy and I got married, my name was gonna be Teddy Joe area of it, Teddy Joe, Brandon j t J. So I just made the decision to not be Teddy Joe anymore t J. While they were all hanging out, Was there ever that moment that you were thinking I wish I was I was a part of it. Are you okay to be well? No, because I had had the boys for ten day straight and I'm used to having them week on, week off, and they were driving me fucking nuts, honestly, and so they had planned Thanksgiving at noon, like the day after I just gave the boys back. Do they live close to you? They do, very um and we usually do in the evening and I had the worst liness that ache. But I was just like I can't get out of bed. I just watched movies all day. Were you kind of like, I don't want to deal with their ship. Well, no, I'm fighting with my ex husband at the moment, So I love what do you guys fight about? At this point? Your kids are like grown, they're not though. I mean a nineteen year old today is not you and I. Yeah, but after eighteen you really don't have to deal with your ex husband anymore. That is that. Yeah, when you're supporting their lives still, and we're each paying for their lives. Like if he was like if he had his own place and he was like living his best life and paying for everything himself, that's different. But we're still splitting, like you know the cost of everything and we don't see I don't I own things. I mean like I've had a job since I was twelve years old, you know, always working, and he was like that too, So I don't understand why he wants to different. There's a different kind of dynamics. So when you're talking about your ex, I'm like, I get it. That being said, when it comes to my husband and my kids. He's way harder than cruise on cruise than he is with the girls because daddy's on their girls. I think I don't have so I don't know. I don't want them either, ever, So I mean I think that I think that some I said it so elegant eloquently. I don't know. Yeah, I getting tested already. Okay, So so back to Mason. Do you support him a percent when it comes to modeling or do you think it's just like a side kit? Absolutely? I mean I've been to every meeting, I'm on every text, on every email. You would know better than anybody, right, But you know it's it's easier for him because he had his foot in the door, like I knew, you know a lot of different agents in town. I like I knew the best agency for him to go with, and they were happy to take him. He didn't have to go and be rejected by town agencies. If if you know how old were you when you started? I was seventeen. And who pushed you? Did you somebody push you? Family member? You did it in your own No, I just wanted to get the funk away from my family. Um. But I know if you found at the mall and the like you want to go to Paris? Wait that actually worked, it did. That's how Lane was too. But I think it's because your guys are tall. We were tall and skinny and like, you know, beautiful. Well thank you, but you know, I like, we have an agency in San Francisco. Come down. Was it something you wanted to do? Did you think about this? Did your parents go you should be a model or you thought you wanted to be a model. I wanted to be a truck driver and that sounds really crazy. I love that. Well, I was a fan of his. I think he was wasted, honestly, like half of us were. But it was like, oh, like I love you know, and he was just like yeah, whatever was the place or at the day plan during the day in the green room. Yeah, I just And then I gave up that his girlfriend was really sweet, maybe because maybe because he was with his girlfriend. He know, she was super sweet to me. Every other I had her, she was super sweet. Everyone from Southern Charm was super sweet. Gazelle Bryant was like, oh what she do? Wait? Wait, she was just like we were on a panel together for Girls Trip. You were there, and I was I think it was Why Trip, But they're on the next so they brought out like three two seasons and so you talked about Luke, right yeah, and I was like, who cares? Like, there's two single guys at Bravo con whom I'm not gonna say someone's husband. And then she was just rude later and I was like, you know what, like you're pretty on the outside, but not the inside because pretty much everyone else is super super sweet. Yeah. I didn't really have any big asshole encounters, did you. Whitney Whitney Rose was a bit wait what what Whitney wild Rose from Salt Lake? What? Wait? Define? Well, I think because I was are you hanging up more? I was thinking with Heather and then when the girl's ship girls came out, like John or Day, friend goes, I'm team Heather all the way, and I went, who So maybe that might that might have been part of it. Wait, Dave Quinn City was team Heather all the way. Yeah, and I loved it, and I was like, whoa, I like it. And so she was behind me when I did that because I'm kind of I'm team Whitney. Yeah, A lot of people are. Yeah. I feel like how the changes her mind like constantly. I get a lot of heat for this. But I think Heather's like the younger version of LVP. Really you actually said she was like the newscaster. She is so smart. Guy. I think she's funny, but I think she gives great confessionals. But I don't think that she's authentic to who she is. I don't think she is who everybody thinks she is. Well, I think that everybody that's that funny, like she's funny, she's on it, she's narrating she's all the things. What's what's the what's the dark side? We all have a dark side, we all have like that not so great part of was so excited to bring gen Shaw into our room and then pretended that she didn't pretended she didn't. Well, I got really drunk with her where we fell, I think, um, but I really liked her. I do think she's gonna have a bad season just from what I've seen so far. Exactly. They bring you up to bring you down. But I really do like her. I but you know, I'm gonna watch like But I also take away in person. I like a lot of people, but we all have to remember they're making entertainment for us, So it's not maybe I take away. It's like, if I like you in person, that's all that really matters. Yeah, No, you right, you can forgive all the other things. That's why it was hard for me when they asked me if I was team Heather or team Whitney, because I liked them both at Bravo Con. But the end of the day, if I was stuck in a room with one person, who would I rather be with, I don't know. I honestly liked them both. Yeah, I've had to take a team, like if we're in high school. Well, any who, let's talk about Real Housewives, Ultimate Girls Tripe season two. Might we might again? We're talking about after sharing a house for eight days. Brandy tell us something about camera that our listeners wouldn't know. She is a completely different person when Vicky is around, like like really like you kind of become her sidekick and you don't have a personality, And it sucks because when she left, you're like super fun. It was it was I have this this thing in me where I feel like I have to take care of her, and I felt like she came into filming Ultimate Girl's Trip in a bad place. She broke up with her. She knew he was breaking up with her. He was moving out of her house while she was there. She just got enough of COVID. Everybody there was back stained but her and she knew it was an issue, and it became an issue the very person were there. It was more of an issue than what actually remember it was. Yes, it was, I'm sure like it was a huge thing. It was really bad. I was passed out bed but was huge. And the way they scaled it down was it was a bad, but I do feel like you fall into line a little bit like I did that with LVP, Like I felt like, in a way she was in charge of me, and that's how I felt like with you and Vicky. Vicky runs you. But then the second we're on our own, we're our own person, and then you know, it just takes a minute to figure off that's what you want to do. And at the time, I worshiped LVP and I was like, oh my god, I loved it. It was it was a weird situation where I didn't really know anybody, Like none of us did that. We didn't know anybody, so you kind of aligned with who you did know. And Vicky was there and I knew her and we were sharing a room and I was trying to support her. I definitely didn't agree with everything, and at this point, neither of them were fully back no right, no right, So there was there was a lot of that hurt. Like Derenda Camera, I would say Camera took it the best and handled the best and Vicky were all like still reeling after being fired. So you have to understand it was like all of these emotions going. It was like the perfect storm honestly, do you think that you're about to be asked back to housewives? Yeah? No, I have a go And this is something that flooded my d M s. Do I regret anything that I said about you and Denise? And I want to make something really clear to everybody. When when I talked about Denise and Brandy, none of it was slut shaming or outing anybody or anything like I think you kind of out in somebody, right, No, actually, like, yeah, Brandy had already out of refresh your memories and what actually went down at that dinner, But that was so I wasn't there. So the night before they left for Rome, Kim and I which I wasn't even supposed to be on camera, but the second they said put a mic on, I'm like, ching, okay, I'm waiting in the car. I'm like okay, Um, so I'm upstairs, And I drunkenly shared it with Kim and really like I hadn't told did you regret it after you said I did because my girlfriend's like my non TV girlfriends new, um, but I wasn't, And I said, Kim, not say anything, and I really wasn't. I didn't know if I was going to say or not. So it's a shock to all of us. When Kim goes she did something to he, I was like, uh so, I shocked Teddy, I shocked Kyle. Everyone thinks that scene was shot after dead pregnant. I didn't even bother getting myself together because they're like, you have to go over to Kyle's to film, like they never did make an effort to brush my hair, like you can see the whole thing. And then everyone is so mad at me. And at the end of the day, Yes, do I regret my delivery d I regret some of my conversations with Denise one million percent because I could have had them differently. That being said, if it were reversed and something was going to come out on television, I would always prefer somebody to say it to me first. I just think we were all in such a toxic situation together, and then were you guys friends? Teddy and I always liked each other, but friendly, like friendly friendly, But I don't think we even had at that time. We had no report. We had seen each other twice at Elton John's parties, but other than that, no. We became more friendly the following year and then she loves you a lot. But yeah, no, to me, it was never about Denise and all of that. It was more just like it's already What was your friendship with Denise prior to talking about this on camera? It was it was pretty close. Sound what have you known her as long as we've been on the show. No, I mean not as close as Brandy Owner for like, you know, she reached out to me maybe my second season on Housewives on on my space. Oh my god, I know my space and all honestly on my Space she reached out to me. And you gotta under stand, like this is the first time I've ever been on national TV. I'm on TV. Denise Richards, who's you know, James Bond girl whatever, is reaching out to me and telling me how she loves the show, she loves me, she loves Dish, She's asked me about my kids, and I would have this relationship with her on my space. That's like, I mean, it's exciting when you like like a legit movie star and you're like on a reality show and you're just like, oh my god, Denise Richards like right, and I always got like she was lovely girl, beautiful whatever, and then um, I think season two, we got invited to a party at the Playboy Mansion. I went to play By Mansion. She was there, and that's the first time I actually saw her. And then we like, you know, got to know each other and we had like I wouldn't say we were like great friends, but you know, right, but you had a report we were my Space friends, and then we moved on to Instagram, right, gosh. You but the fact that she reached out in the first places, like that's kind of epic. But also did you actual vibe like that she was trying to hit on you before? No, I never did. But what I did hear from other my other cast members that they she reached out to them too, which in my head makes me think, oh my god, she wants me on a house my show. Right, And mind you, this is before Beverly Hills was even a thing. And then Beverly Hills came out, and then eventually she got on that and I never heard from her again. Yeah, I don't. I don't know. I I don't have an actual problem with Denise other than I heard I'm gonna say, right, I think it did. Yeah, I mean you heard from her late night. But um, I think that Denise. We had. We had a lot of fun on the show. It wasn't until she started to want to change who she was. But I started to have an issue with Listen, I'm a freaking pain in the butt. I'm taype A. I'm controlling all the things. Denise saw all those things in me. But I'm going to take ownership for being that person. But you guys realized that she got with my agent. So we had the same agent, and he was the one that was always like, you need to not say fuck, you need to not drink, you need to repair what you did last season. So I'm fairly sure that's that's why she started mom. But that's what I'm saying. Probably she was hearing also because the first season she was drunk and fine talking about Dick. That's what I'm saying. The first season, I loved her. Then we went to New York together. I hung out with her the entire weekend. We had so much fun, and then all of a sudden, she's just no. We went we did watch What Happens Live like between a day apart. We went to steak We had so much fun, laughing like all the things, and then something went down and she just kind of switched her tune. And truthfully, for me, my switch came when it when it came to something involving l VP she wanted to take. Is she still friends with l VP? I'm sure I think she is? Conveniently right now, are you? Do you still talk to you? I mean you don't talk have you since the viewers have seen Have you had any communication with her at all? None? Zero? Absolutely? So Teddy had communication here at the MTB Awards. Well, that's because of you, By my fault, I didn't tell you to talk to her. I was sitting there for forty five minutes all by myself. Well, as you were talking, I was filming over my shoulder. She's like, I got receipts, all right? Well, either way, moving on from Denise, she we'll see she's saying now how bad she wants to come back. She's continuing to tweet talk about it whatever, But like, bring it then, let's be first season Denise and then sit down and have a conversation. Because she can't come back and not face the music because she never faced it. Would you like her to come back and you as well continue the story because I feel like the viewers need to see I want to see it. I think it would be unfair to have her come back and be able to control. Then she came to the reunion and you didn't well, she said that she wasn't going to show up. A five showed up and I got canceled that morning of I know, I don't know. I was like, we we're all pissed. Well, it's unfortunately she had that much power. But if you're an actual housewife, you had Brabo has my loyalty to you than they do. Oh yeah, of course a friend. What's your relationship with Kim Kim? I love Kim, we I I do. We are not talking still, but she's like me. During COVID, I took her to the emergency room. And then you know, COVID was hard for everyone. We look last week like we don't get along all the time. We fight like she's like a sister. We would get an argument. Um, my kids loved her, but like when she was mean to me, I was being back. So I think she kind of just quit me and made something up because COVID was too hard. And she knows I love her and she knows I will never ever tell her secrets or share any of the ship that we went through. And I do think she'll him back around point, but I'm not going to chase her down. And what are your thoughts on Kathy Hilton this season? Okay, so I know all of the sisters, right, Um, Kyl? I did not well since on the second season of Housewives. I knew Crylin, Kim, and then I met Kathy through them. Um, and I was always friendly with Kathy at our Christmas parties. Everything is great, Um, Kyl and I did not obviously get along for a long time because you know, she was riding with Kim and I had Kim's back. Oh, this is a housewife question. I mean this is an Instagram question. Why was it never filmed when l v P put the magazines in your bag? But cameras were there, so I'm sure it's floating around somewhere. Really, I have a question from Instagram. Um, are you dating anybody special right now? To fine dating? Are you down? Are you boning down at anybody hot? Well she I mean she said like on watching Heaven's Life, like, oh, there's more to it, and then on the reunion she said, oh no, that was it, like speaking of we got caught off. We didn't even talk about what your thoughts on the Cathy Hilton situation are Oh, blood is always thicker than water. The sisters will always come back together. Kyle is like the person that holds that. She is the one that holds them all together the entire show. Don't you agree? Absolutely? I think she drives the ship in a good way. A lot of people were like, oh, she's doing this. I'm like, well, without her doing that, they would not be There's no common ground of any friends, no exactly. So she's like, I feel like, thank God she's doing that, or no one would have those conversations. And I know she had a tough season, like she took a lot of heat. But I do think that the sisters will always stick together at the end of the day. And would you come back as a housewife or a friend of or solely a housewife? I wouldn't. I don't want to be a friend of because I want to check. Yeah. Yeah, No, there's no point because I know I'll do the most and get paid the least. I'm not doing that. So have they come back to you since your last time you've been on the show. No, I mean I think they're on hiatus right now. Like I really think they're trying to figure out what was your last time? What season was your last season on the show two years ago when Teddy was on, when we had the three years niece that were never an actual housewife, when Erica was a housewife, No, I was not. I my season my last season was right before she came on, but they still brought me back every season until like the past couple and thank god because I really don't have much to add to what they're fighting about. And I do think you know, I love Renna. I do you think you think that Renna and Erica need to be separated? Yeah? I think it's a it's a it's a big brother situation. It's like everyone has our final to Kyle has to read, Renna has Erica, you know, like Sutton and Garcell. So if you had to cut one, who is it Crystal other than who's her final two? Other than Crystal and Diana, which to me there doesn't like they're just they're gone. How would you shake up the season the show? How did you do? I would just be myself. I feel like, like, what would you do? What would definitely the couples, Like I don't know if I would start completely fresh, and like they did on New York. I think that could be very interesting, like that, Kyle kind of separated herself this season from some of the girls. I feel like she stepped away from you know, Erica got upset with her, and she kind of pushed herself. You even said Which Happens Live recently that at the end of the day, nobody really hugged Kyle was the only one. She sent me a text today and she said, Hey, I watched you and watch What Happens Live last night. I'm sorry it was horrible. Yeah, she was like, you said, um, you know who's the biggest bully in Hollywood? And you said Harvey Weinstein, not Lea. I'm like, these are just obvious things. And she goes, there was a moment at the end of the reunion where none of us did hug Kyle, And You're so right, that was really fucked up because I don't think they got that it was a family dynamic that has been going on for years and Dan we embraced right and Camille having a mental break, hugging her, taking her on, and I had never seen Kyle the way that I saw her this year. So like, but but I think I think that they felt jilted that she called them on their ship for trying to change the conversation. I think they were like, we're not going to be kind to you because you called us out. Now actually friends off camera, because I think very close off camera, we haven't. None of us have been messaging off camera at all. I think that we're not talking about you know, but I know you weren't. But but I'm saying, I don't think. I think normally there's a lot of communication. But I think the fact that I wasn't even talking about Renna and Erica reaching out to her, I think it was the fact that the only two people that could have reached out to her to make a difference would have been Garcel and Sutton. Like in in in the world of the public persona well, I think that Sutton is very self I know and I knew her before Housewives. She's a very self involved person. So I liked Sutton. Um Like I was around at her parties before she was on Housewives. She wanted to be on so desperately. I would always see Renna and Harry at her parties. Um, we have a mutual friend. Also that she completely quit once she got on Housewives, and I felt like they were so close, and she would pay for my girlfriend to go with her everywhere and work on her skin and that, Like, I just feel like she, you know, Renna got her on, and then she would turned on Renna. And she's just very self involved and I know a lot of people love her. I have a great question. Okay, you don't have to answer if you don't want to. The greatest celebrity sex you've had in Hollywood? Oh god, I would say, it's it's what I'm having right now. Oh my god, you're killing us right now, Brandy. Would you support Leanne becoming a housewife if you were back on the show as well? Yeah, it's so crazy because Lynne and I really do get along. I would love to see that dynamic. Do you think she would do it? No? No, so yeah I don't. I don't think that she would do it, And honestly, like Eddie would never do it. I know him way too well. He's you know, he's a Latin guy. Now she's the breadwinner for the most part. So when I was with them, I was the wife and the mother. I didn't make any money. Do your boys like her? Yes? Absolutely don't. Next question, if there was any storyline that was ever cut from your time on Housewives that you wish could still be on there, what would it be? I think a lot of stuff that Um London I went through was not on camera, and it sucks because she really was sick. She was very fucking ill. And there were stuff going on with David that like he was cheating. We did not know that, but there was just stuff that and it was horrible. And I spent a lot of time with her off camera and I love her. Um. I will just say that I'm always going to be on your Lunda side because she is a MoMA there. So she was also nice to you. I loved her, but that showed a lot of times so sweet she was. And she's very like Brandy, you did this wrong, you know what I mean, like you shouldn't have done that. You appreciate when someone says you did this wrong and you were wrong, or do you fight them on that. I appreciate it when it's your Landa and I know she's right. Well that's how I am too. And then she asked me to sit down with her so that the crossover could happen, and I said no many of times, and finally I was like, so you helped LVP with her new show. But also when somebody like that takes you under their wing and tells you if you want a job next year, stick with me, you start to it exactly, but I'm started run the show, and you really think about it. What thirty two year old is hanging out with a sixty four year old woman? Nobody? Nobody, No, it's not so How quickly did you make friends with Kyle? No?
