For his interview this week Billy got on the phone to Australia's Man In Black and legendary frontman of the Cruel Sea and Beasts of Bourbon Mr Tex Perkins.

Tex has been a figurehead in the Australian music scene for 30 years. Billy learned what it takes to become Johnny Cash as Tex has been touring the Man in Black shows for over a decade to sold out audiences around the world.. Tex explains that " it was a very natural fit for his vocal style but also his personality.

Billy and Tex discussed the state of the current Australian music scene and how Tex has seen it change in some good ways but in bad ways as well.

Tex and his Fat Rubber Band are headlining the Hitch The Sticks Festival and he is very excited to be sharing the stage with some of his besties in Ella Hooper and Stonefield.
