Our resident rock fanatic, Bill Bradley, jumped on the phone with legendary Live frontman, Ed Kowalczyk!
Live have been together since 1991 and have sold over 22 million albums worldwide. With hits like Lightning Crashes, I Alone, Selling The Drama and Dolphin's Cry, there's no surprise the band has a cult following all around the world! Live is renowned as one of the hardest working and best Live acts (pardon the pun) in the world.
Billy & Ed chatted about the process of writing and recording Throwing Copper (released in 1994) which threw the group into the mainstream. Many years and shows later, the band broke up - lawsuits & all. This then saw Ed go solo, and he told Billy about the fear he had of doing it alone.
Live are coming down under in April 2020 for their Under The Southern Stars Tour, along with 90s contemporaries, Bush & Stone Temple Pilots. Ed also gave Billy an update on what to expect after recently rounding up touring America with Bush.
Did Ed accidentally let it slip to Billy that a new Live album is in the works for 2020? Listen here to find out!
