This week, Billy jumped on the phone to Pat Robinson - lead singer, guitarist & founder of Aussie favourites, Motor Ace, who recently reunited for some dates across the country to celebrate 20 years of being a band (on & off!)
Motor Ace burst onto the Australian music scene in the late 90s and quickly climbed the charts with hits like Carry On, Chairman Of The Board and Keeping Secrets..
However, the pressures of fame and the extensive touring schedule broke Patrick as he was also fighting a disease he kept quiet about.
The band called it a day soon after this and Patrick worked on his solo music.
As the band celebrate 20 years after their first release in 1999, the fans started petitions to get the band back together to tour - and true to their word, they did.
BUT like Billy's interview with ex Powderfinger guitarist Darren Middleton - where he may have let slip about a possible Powderfinger reunion - Pat let the same slip about Motor Ace getting back together and heading into the studio to make new music in 2020!
