Juris Kronbergs (9 August 1946 – 6 July 2020) was a Latvian poet and translator living long-term in Stockholm. He was President of Latvian PEN, served for ten years as the Latvian Cultural Attaché to Sweden, and received several prizes for poetry and translation, among them a Best Poetry Collection prize in Latvia for his book, Wolf One-Eye. He toured with Trafika Europe; here he performs selections from Wolf One-Eye (11 1/2 minutes - in English translation by by Mara Rozitis), accompanied on guitar by French-Algerian poet-musician Alima Hamel, recorded at Webster's Bookstore Café, State College, PA, 11 April 2016.
