In this episode, we share the story of Daniel and his truly inexplicable experience many years back. When he was in his mid-twenties, he and a group of his friends were bored during the seventh month, and decided on a whim to visit a local cemetery and tell ghost stories.

 

Throughout the evening, the mood between his group of friends remained mostly jovial; that was until Daniel started to go quiet while staring at a gravestone, specifically the engraved picture of a beautiful woman. When his friends questioned him about it, his gaze remained fixed at the picture, and all he could muster in response was "She's so beautiful, I wish she could be my girlfriend".

In the first story, a couple of train engineers are performing some routine inspections on the train tracks when they encounter something peculiar, a pair of red shoes, particularly befitting for a little girl. Creeped out, they decide to ignore it and continue with their inspection; but the curious thing is, the shoes weren't around anymore when they when back on the same path.

In the second story, a young teenage girl is trying to sleep at a school camp when she sees a shadow of a human figure passing by the front door. The next day, while she goes back to the same room alone to retrieve her notebook, she hears someone calling her name, but trying to mimic her friend's voice.

The Red Shoes On The MRT Train Tracks

It is, on its surface, an anomaly. Surrounded by forests and in the sweltering Malaysian heat stands a majestic, European-style castle that looks like its trapped in time.

 

But beyond the sprawling grounds and the brick walls there is a tragic story that few know about. A story about the young farm boy from Scotland who made his wealth planting rubber trees on these very grounds. And a story about how he tragically died before his grand visions for the castle were completed. Which is perhaps why, according to some, he still roams and inspects the castle even till this day.
