It gets dark earlier this time of year. I'm Lina Abujamra and this is today's single Christian. I love long summer nights and sunshine. One of the hardest things for me to adjust to this time of year are the shorter days and the darker nights. If I'm being honest, I prefer the light and no wonder when you think about it, so does God and there's not a time to remember it like the Christmas season. See, Christmas is about light coming into the darkness. It's about Jesus entering your world and mind to abolish the darkness and shed his light on our hearts. These days, every time I feel the blanket of darkness engulf me, I remember that though the night be dark, Jesus is the light that will shine brighter and forever. The winter endures for a season. Summer with its endless light is coming. Someday Jesus is coming back to light up the world with his glory.
