Frustrated with God's delays? There may be a good explanation.
I'm Lina Abujamra, and this is today's single Christian. My mom has this thing with the mail. She checks it daily. I visited her recently and went with her to check the mail. It wasn't in yet. We went two hours later. Still nothing. I could tell she was getting frustrated by the third visit. I checked on something and you guessed it, we were dealing with a national holiday, not a national disaster. The mailman was off that day. No wonder the mail wasn't in yet. I've noticed that in my life, I can easily get in a tizzy over something. I'll pray and expect God to answer and feel my anxiety increase. The longer it takes for me to see the answer. Slowly but surely, I'm learning the lesson of the mailbox. If God hasn't provided it yet, there's usually a really good reason for it. Are you frustrated over God's delays? You don't have to be. God's delays are never his denials. In due time, he always provides exactly what we need. He's never too late. He's always on time. For more, visit today. Single. Christian. Com.
